History

The P-H-M Education Foundation (PHMEF), was formed in 1996 as an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. PHMEF is the avenue for individuals and the private sector to develop positive and supportive relationships with the P-H-M School Corporation and to make philanthropic contributions to help accomplish the School Corporation’s goals. Dedicated volunteers representing a cross-section of the business and school communities and the community-at-large serve as the Board of Directors.

PHMEF’s funding comes from special events (Superintendent’s Luncheon, the Annual Drive, Silver Mile Health & Fitness Fair, Donna & Dr. Jerry Thacker 5K Run/Walk for Education) as well as Indiana Education License plates, Corporations for Education program, Thank-A-Teacher program, Buy a Brick, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
