Fit Feastival
Thanks to the generous funding of $11,000 from Corporations for Education, Fit Feastival will educate all P-H-M elementary students about health and fitness through a partnership with HealthWorks! This is a unique program that teaches students how to make healthy lifestyle changes.
P-H-M Schools win big at state Lego League Tournament
Fifty two teams competed in the First Lego League’s Indiana Champion Tournament on Dec. 10 at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Top winners were from the P-H-M school district, included:
- Mary Frank Elementary team received 1st place in Project Presentation
- Discovery Middle School team received 2nd place in Project Presentation
- Northpoint Elementary/Discovery Middle School team placed 4th in the Robot Table Competition
Congratualtions to these top teams who qualified for state at the North Central Indiana tournament, which was held at Discovery Middle School on Nov. 20. A special hank you to Coporations for Education, the corporate division of PHMEF, for sponsoring the qualifying tournament.
