In 2007, the law firm of May Oberfell Lorber wanted to help make a difference in the educational opportunities available to students at Walt Disney Elementary School ─ its neighbor to the east. Through a generous corporate donation, a summer reading program was established. Soon other businesses wanted to be a part of supporting public education which developed into Corporations for Education (CFE).
There are three levels of financial participation in CFE. Corporate Partners pledge $25,000 payable over five years at $5,000 per year.
Corporate Team Leaders pledge $15,000 payable over five years at $3,000 per year.
Corporation Team Members pledge $5,000 payable over five years at $1,000 per year.
