To create a future where EVERY student in Penn-Harris-Madison schools has access to innovative learning opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong success.
Who we are
The P-H-M Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose sole mission is to raise money that goes directly back into the schools.
What we do
The number 1 priority is issuing grant money directly to teachers and staff for special projects that they apply for. We also fund other programs such as College and Career Fairs, Running is Elementary, Books and Bots and so much more!

We’re gearing up for another unforgettable Homecoming and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring it all together!
PHMEF is seeking enthusiastic, community-minded volunteers to help plan: Friday Night Homecoming Events Penn and the High School Homecoming Dance (student volunteers welcome)

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS AND 1.82 MILLION
The P-H-M Education Foundation has disbursed more than $1.82 million since its inception. In the 2025-26 school year, PHMEF funded $145,000 in corporation wide programs, innovative classroom grants and scholarships.
